====== Online BGP workshop - November 2025 ======


KeNOG ran a running a virtual workshop focusing on BGP on the 27th and 28th of November. The workshop format was tutorials and interactive hands on labs.

The workshop covered how to configure BGP in a multi Autonomous System network. Stats below:

  * Total of 68 attendees from at least 4 countries
  * Lab stats: Total of 5 nodes per learner -> 340 Nodes provisioned
  * Lab routers operating system - FRR

====== Lab Topology ======

Learners required to configure BGP on both IPv4 and IPv6 and implement filtering. Each learner provided with two routers to configure as peer the topology below.

**Workshop Content**

Configure BGP in a multi Autonomous System network. 

**Workshop requirements**

  * Use a PC/Laptop with a modern browser (small screens are not recommended)
  * Have basic understanding of networking and how to enter commands on command line
  * At least 3 hours per day for the tutorial and hands on labs
  * Complete a mandatory anonymous survey after the course
